Location display preference

This preference controls the level of detail intended for future public display. City-level map pins will use an approximate city location, never a home address.

Allow my location to appear on the future Global Community map Display my chosen location on my public member profile

Both options are independent. Turning them off keeps your location out of those public displays. The public map is not enabled in this stage.
